Position Summary

As a business development executive, you will be supporting the lead generation and pre-sales function within the business development team by identifying and generating new business opportunities.Responsibility areas and tasks may change according to business needs, but the primary focus will include:

  • Researching and pursuing new business leads
  • Building strong commercial relationships
  • Generating marketing material
  • Driving local brand awareness
  • Actively coordinating across teams and managing team demands
  • Representing Zalaris professionally and positively within the market

Your Responsibilities

Lead Generation:

  • Identifying, generating, and qualifying new business leads.
  • Researching the market and identifying buying trends and relevant industry topics.
  • Develop strong understanding of customer and market needs.
  • Develop strong product knowledge to pitch to new and prospective leads.
  • Utilise the sales CRM to manage and track lead pipeline.
  • Feed future buying trends back to the business.

Partnerships:

  • Identify and build strong commercial relationships with key partners and associations.
  • Nurture industry relationships.
  • Produce pitches which present Zalaris products and service in a structured and professional way.
  • Report industry insights to the business.

Marketing and Events:

  • Develop marketing materials in line with Group led guidelines.
  • Work with marketing to locally drive brand awareness.
  • Produce written content (blogs, articles) to showcase thought-leadership to be used across the
  • website and social media channels.
  • Manage Zalaris’ presence on digital marketplaces.
  • Utilise resources from the broader Zalaris group to build case studies and external references.
  • Represent Zalaris at trade exhibitions and events.

Skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • A positive, confident. and determined approach.
  • A high degree of self-motivation.
  • The skills to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to present and communicate confidently to all levels of seniority.
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft packages
