Senior Presales Consultant

Dovetail is looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant to work within our Sales team. The position can be based anywhere in the United States. We’re looking for a highly enthusiastic, motivated and high energy individual who has the ability to demonstrate the value proposition of Dovetail’s product suite. This person is responsible for supporting the sales effort, including collecting product customer requirements, product configuration for demonstrations to prospects, and participating in marketing events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customized product demonstrations to prospects
• Work with Account Executive to custom tailor demonstrations to meet each prospect’s needs
• Respond to technical questions during the sales process
• Handle the technical/functional areas of completing RFPs
• Foster and build strong relationships with our customers
• Implementation process improvement

• Ability to learn new tools and applications quickly with minimal assistance
• Exhibit a “do whatever it takes” attitude to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ability to adjust/adapt on the fly as the situation warrants, typically within the context of a demo
• Ability to productively work remotely and establish relationships with prospects while interacting via video
• Thirst for constant learning and personal development

Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant or Administrator of an HR SaaS application
• Previous experience working with SaaS-based applications; preferably complex solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams such as product management, development, QA, Support, Consulting
• Knowledge of the HR functions; ideally an understanding of HR technology, best practices and operations
• Knowledge of SaaS security and data privacy
• Previous experience with CRM technology and/or Helpdesk software
